Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a system that is becoming widespread used in the project phases of the construction sector in our country. All that is required for the entire project phases created such a parametric models with this system and is possible to be processed on the model created in the digital environment each construction element of the building.

Heating and cooling loads of sample building located in Istanbul compare with HAP and Revit software

Heating and cooling loads of an eight storey sample building located in İstanbul were determined using HAP and Revit software. Two floors are used as residence, three floors as office and three floors as management offices. Three different systems were chosen in order to examine the effect of system load on heating and cooling loads and compare software. Radiator, 4-pipe fan coil and all air systems were designed for residences, offices and management office, respectively. Conditions effecting calculated results such as working schedule, indoor and outdoor conditions were the identical for both software. Calculated results are found to be very close to each other.

Heating and cooling loads are Compared with HAP and Revit Programs

Heating and cooling loads of a sample building in Istanbul are calculated with HAP and Revit program. Having an effect on the calculation results of the work program, internal and external conditions have been the same. As a result of calculations, heating and cooling loads have been found close to each other.
