With the „Modellfabrik Papier“ (MFP) a regionally networked real-world laboratory for the paper industry is being established in Düren, aiming to contribute to the development of an industrial value chain for sustainable paper production.
The research complex covers a total area of approximately 6,500 m² and consists of a two-storey pilot plant facility as well as a laboratory and office building.

Our Design Scope
As a subcontractor, IBS was responsible for the HVAC and plumbing (HLKS) design during Service Phase LPh 5.
Through smooth coordination during the design phase, a clash-free overall model of the HLKS systems and cable tray routing was successfully developed and delivered.
